Hamilton Blvd., Ross St., and Thorold Ave. - Hydro Relocation and Road Reconstruction Project

The City of Thorold is reconstructing Hamilton Boulevard, Ross Street, and Thorold Avenue. Utility replacement is slated to begin in 2025 to allow for road reconstruction, and water main/storm sewer installation will follow in 2026.

The key aspects involved in this work will include, but not be limited to:

• Upgrading the roadways to an urban cross-section including drainage improvements and a new cul-de-sac
• Installing new curbs and sidewalks
• Installing a new sidewalk on the east side of Thorold Avenue
• Replacing the asphalt roadway
• Replacing the watermain
• Installing new storm sewers
• Underground utility installations
