Project Background

Artisan Ridge is a residential subdivision located within the City of Thorold. As part of the subdivision approval process, parkland was dedicated for the development of a neighborhood park to serve area residents. Funding for the Artisan Ridge Park Development Project was approved through the City's 2026 Capital Budget.

In support of the City's Strategic Plan and its vision of creating a livable community, the City of Thorold is initiating the design of a park within the Artisan Ridge subdivision. The project will be guided by the City's Parks and Recreation Master Plan and will further develop the preliminary park concept presented during the Public Meeting held on July 14, 2025.

The project is currently advancing from the conceptual planning stage to detailed design. While a variety of park amenities are being considered, the final park features will be determined through the design process and subject to budget, technical, and operational considerations.

Project Schedule and Timeline

• The Artisan Ridge Park Project is currently in the Planning and Initiation Phase.
