Legacy Area 2 Park Project

Legacy is a residential subdivision in the City of Thorold, currently being developed in multiple phases. Construction of Area 1 is complete, Area 2 is underway, and Area 3 is in its early stages.

In alignment with the Provincial Policy Statement (2014), which supports efficient land use, strong communities, and environmental stewardship, and in support of the City’s Strategic Plan: Livable Community, the City of Thorold is initiating the design of a new park within Area 2. This initiative will follow the City’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

The proposed park may include a variety of amenities; however, the final design will be shaped by public consultation and available funding.

To support this process, the City is hosting the first Public Information Centre (PIC #1) for the Legacy Area 2 Park Project:
