Hayes Road Watermain Project

Project Overview

The City of Thorold is undertaking the Hayes Road Watermain Project to enhance water service in the area and support both existing demands and future growth. The project involves installing a new 300 mm diameter watermain along Hayes Road, extending from Allanburg Road to the rail corridor. This new infrastructure will connect to the Regional water system and include associated valves, hydrants, and other appurtenances to improve system operation and reliability. As part of the work, existing water service connections along Hayes Road will be transferred from the current watermain to the new system. These upgrades will strengthen the local water network, improve reliability, and ensure adequate capacity for future development.
