This Public Information Centre (PIC) aims to identify and select the installation of traffic calming measures in response to concerns related to speeds and safety along Port Robinson Road. We strive to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic while being sensitive to the needs of adjacent land uses and the environment.

The goal is to clearly understand community issues and expectations, ensuring that all related concerns are addressed and documented. Additionally, we aim to identify the preferred technical solutions and achieve consensus on a solution for the affected area.

Update June 17, 2025:

A Public Information Centre (PIC) was held on June 10, 2025, to identify and select the installation of traffic calming measures in response to concerns related to speeds and safety along Port Robinson Road.

Staff took further assessment of the feedback and comments from the public and provided the following technical solutions to address the safety concerns:

  • Installation of Speed Humps and Line Painting
  • Speed Reduction
  • Please see the FAQ for additional information
