Key Dates

The City of Thorold is planning to host a Public Information Centre (PIC) to discuss planned watermain and sanitary sewer replacements on Colborne Street and Sullivan Avenue. 

The work includes replacing approximately 95m of watermain and 80m of sanitary sewer on Colborne Street with 200mm of PVC pipe, and replacing approximately 206mm of sanitary sewer on Sullivan Avenue with 200mm of PVC pipe.

Closure 1: Colborne Street closed between Metcalfe St. and Sullivan Ave.

Colborne Street will be local traffic only. The closure will be in effect from Monday, January 12th, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. until Friday, February 13th at 7:00 p.m.

Closure 2: Sullivan Ave closed between Sydenham St. and West St. S.

Sullivan Ave will be local traffic only. The closure will be in effect from Monday, January 12th, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. until Friday, February 13th at 7:00 p.m.
