Legacy Area 3 Park Project

Legacy is a residential subdivision in the City of Thorold, currently being developed in multiple phases. Construction of Area 1 is complete, Area 2 is underway, and Area 3 is in its early stages. Legacy Area 3 is being developed on the Northeastern side of Port Robinson Road and Kottmeier Road.

In alignment with the Provincial Policy Statement (2014), which supports efficient land use, strong communities, and environmental stewardship, and in support of the City’s Strategic Plan: Livable Community, the City of Thorold is initiating the design of a new park within Area 3. This initiative will follow the City’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

The proposed park may include a variety of amenities; however, the final design will be shaped by public consultation and the availability of funding.
